Horizontal Tank

Function and use

The aluminum silo is constructed from an aluminum alloy that belongs to the Al-Mg-Si series. This alloy primarily includes magnesium as the main alloying element, offering excellent formability and cold workability. Known for its corrosion resistance, weldability, and moderate strength, it is the most commonly used anti-rust aluminum alloy. This material is notable for its high strength and exceptional fatigue resistance. It exhibits high plasticity and resists corrosion effectively, though it cannot be strengthened through heat treatment. The alloy maintains good plasticity when semi-cold hardened, whereas its plasticity decreases under full cold hardening. It provides good corrosion resistance and weldability, though it has poor machinability. Additionally, this aluminum alloy can be polished.

Advantages

Especially suitable for dry powders

corrosion resistance, less maintenance is required, reducing costs and downtime

No vaulting or moisture problems

Made of corrosion-resistant aluminum material, it can be used to store easily corroded materials.

Relatively lightweight aluminum materials make the storage system easier to install and relocate, saving labor and time costs
